Kiruga Thuku has raised concerns over the delay in opening up Kîînu Access Road in chinga Ward.The Legislator noted that during a consultative meeting between the Committee and the County Executive Committee Members responsible for Transport and Finance, it was resolved that the two respective Departments ensure that a sum of KShs. 1 Million is allocated in the 2025/2026 Financial Year budget to facilitate the opening up of the road. Kiruga has now requested a statement from the Chairperson of the Committee on Transport, Public Works and Infrastructure seeking an explanation for the delay in implementing the Assembly's resolution.
